I can't move a rookie puzzle to the expert section. I get the following message:

Carnut

Odd.
which one?  I can try to move it for you?

I just tried to move it and got a pop-up box saying the following:

"Security Warning

The information you have entered on this page will be sent over an insecure connection and could be read by a third party.

Are you sure you want to send this infomation?"

I don't know what's going on.  Have we been hacked?

I suggest you delete your original post then re-post it as a new puzzle in the Experts section.
You'll lose the information about the number of views of course but you could see how that works.

After posting the above I wanted to correct a spelling error and got exactly the same pop-up box with the Security Warning!

Is Pal online? Help is required - I don't think we ever formalised a systems manager as suggested last year.

Well, there was another request on FB. We tried to cure that and this is the consequence

I've just tried to modify the title of a solved puzzle, and got the same message.  I tried to "continue" to no avail, and also deleted the message box but it just stalled.

I have just moved 2 solved puzzles to the correct section, but I'm still unable to modify the puzzle titles.

I attempted to post this by modifying my last entry as above, but again wasn't able to "modify" my post. It's all a bit odd.

Definitely just the "modify" function. It still won't work for me. Not the end of the world but if I delete my puzzles and reposition them I will lose all the posts on that puzzle thread.

Karoly will get a metaphorical beer from me if he can sort this out.

I can move my puzzles and I can also modify them; when I modify them I still get the 'Security Warning' box but if I ignore that and carry on regardless the modification works without any apparent problems.

Interesting. I just tried again - if I ignore the message I cannot continue, but the "message" will disappear if I "X" it out. However when I press "post" for the modification nothing happens. I waited several minutes, but nothing.......

It gets worse - I just tried to post an image on the "Numbers" thread and it wouldn't let me. Same warning message, and whatever I do it won't let me continue. If I press cancel it transfers me to "post a new topic".

Maybe it's just my laptop and not AP's fault. I must stop watching those exotic ladies and their shenanigans.

It seems to depend on the member, not on the hardware. I can neither move topics working with my laptop at home (using Mozilla Firefox) nor using the network client at the office (Microsoft Internet Explorer, no chance for exotic ladies to climb the firewall  ;D).

This suggests that it's not AP programmes which are the problem. I think possibly we have been individually attacked using AP as the medium.
It's very frustrating - I was enjoying The Numbers Game, it's the only thing I'm good at!

I have a feeling there's nothing Pal can do about this.

I can't post at all now! If this appears it'll be a miracle.

An attempted post in the General Automotive section wasn't "allowed" by the mystery blocking message, yet this one was. Weird.

I had found no problems so far, but now the system is not letting me modify the answers post of my Monty101 group puzzle  :-\
When I click "Save", I get sent to a "New Topic" blank page and my changes are lost.

OK, I see now that I can modify posts when I click the edit icon I see near the bottom right of my messages. But not using the top right Icon. This just means that I have to introduce HTML markups and emoticons by hand, but I can live with that.

Funny things happening here. A few minutes ago I tried again to move my puzzle Wendax 2227 to the expert section, but to no avail: security warning and session timed out. Then I tried to move it to the pro section and it worked! It even could be moved to the expert section from there. And afterwards I could move Wendax 2228 from rookie to expert section without any difficulties.   :sigh:

My brother is now involved see his message under my name in this section

I have now managed to get on track with no problem. Thanks Pal and Karoly.

Now I keep getting messages of
"The last posting from your IP was less than 30 seconds ago. Please try again later.", even if I haven't posted anything previously.
I'm having trouble replying to my threads because of this.

Very odd.
My problems, like nicanary's, seem to have vanished for the moment.
