Stormont Show 2022
« on: June 13, 2022, 06:38:26 AM »
It's the time of year when there's a show every weeokend. This one was in the grounds of the national Assembly ( a bit of a joke as one senior party refuses to assemble) and was pretty comprehensive - I left after 2 hours and exhibitors were still arriving. It was mostly the usual fare - only one veteran and a handful of vintage cars. It's a sign of my age that many classic cars are regarded by me as modern. So many owners leave their cars with no information - I think the veteran was a de Dion Bouton (it was definitely single-cylinder).
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Some more. The XK140 was immaculate and had a C-type head. The Cadillac was a Fleetwood. Most interesting car was the Australian Ford Capri Clubsport - I've never seen one before and doubt most AP members have either. The owner reckoned it was one of only 2 in the UK and he owns both.
