Hi Folks,
Allemano has suggested that this may be a good place to post a request for identification. We have a photo of a 1950s VW/Porsche type car photographed in cca 1961 France, which we have been asked to identify. So far none of our experts have been able to nail it. Any ideas?? Alternatively, if this is the wrong section, could some please advise where I should post it.

beutler?
Thanks. It was one of the companies I had considered but could not find a match. Now you have made me look deeper, although no match, there are certain characteristics that occur. Beutler were coach builders so could be a one-off. The rear louvers are horizontal so this could a Volkswagen derivative rather than a Porsche. Any other thoughts much appreciated. Regards
