This one is hard, I know... ;D
Here are 8 pictures of prototypes or styling models during their construction.
One point is for identifying who made them: not the customer (the carmaker) but the firm that made the prototype or the model in the picture.
An additional point is for who recognize each one of the car, but for some of them I don't know exactly the answer...
a - ? made by ModelMaster - ###/75america
b - ? made by UCIF - ###/75america
c - Fiat Armadillo model made by PoliModel - Paul Jaray/75america
d - Icona (Cecomp) Fuselage - Wendax/Wendax
e - IDeA One made by Zerbini Modelli - 75america/75america
f - Lancia Aprilia model made by Stola - Wendax/Wendax
g - ? made by Zerbini Modelli - ###/75america
h - Mitshubishi Colt proposal model made by UCIF - 75america/thorax
75america - 7 points
Wendax - 4 points
Paul Jaray - 1 point
thorax - 1 point

Ok, considering that this is very hard and that there are now only a few puzzles for the Experts, let's move it up quickly...
-
picture e reminds me a Bugatti, is it?
-
It was my first thinking, but I don't know...
However, consider that the main target of the puzzle is to say who made it. And here we don't have carmakers: only specialists in prototyping or modelling, working for big companies.
-
Was car E built by ItalDesign?
-
Much more obscure!
Small clue: all the pictures come from the official companies' websites (but you cannot use Google Image Search!).
-
Is one of the firms Stola
-
Yes, one of them is made by Stola.
-
D looks like the BMW i8 concept
-
I don't think so: doors open in a totally different way.
-
The stola design is e?
-
:shakehead:
-
All the points still available for Pros.
-
C: Maggiora Armadillo for Fiat?
E: Lagonda Vignale?
H: Anything to do with Giugiaro?
-
C - right car, but the milled model was not made by Maggiora themselves. Still to say who made it.
E - I don't actually know...
H - I don't know, but the workshop where the prototype is shown is not Italdesign (that doesn't actually exclude that Giugiaro was the customer).
-
F is a Lancia model made by Stola in the 1930s.
-
It is! Which Lancia? It should be easy...
This one locked for you.

This one locked for you.
Should be an Aprilia.
-
Yes.
-
C: cutting the 1/1 exterior model was done by Poli Model
-
Yes: a point for you!
-
G = Proton Gen 2?
-
Sorry: I don't know the cars. I only know where the prototypes/models have been made.
To get the additional point for identifying the car, you must post a picture to prove it.
-
ok!
-
??? Not sure: bumpers and rear door are totally different...
-
D is the 2011 showcar "Fuselage", presented at the Shanghai Motor Show by ICONA, a subsidiary of CECOMP.
-
Well done! 2 points for you.
-
Might 'h' be this (rejected) design proposal for the 1987 Mitsubishi Mirage/Colt:
-
Might 'e' be the 1999 I.DE.A IDEAone?
And was this model not completely made in house?
(Any response on my previous post for the identification of car 'h'?)
-
"e" could also be the I.DE.A. Emerald, constructed/designed by I.DE.A.Institute and presented at the 2005 Shanghai Auto Show.
-
"a" is Model Master, but I have no idea what car it is.
-
H should be right and a is indeed right.
About e, I wasn't able to find an Emerald rear-view, but I'd say it's not the One.

Is company 'h' Japanese, or knowing your style of puzzles, is it also an Italian company (perhaps linked with Sessano/Open design who worked a lot for Mitsubishi back in those days)?
"the Emerald is a second edition of the IDEA-One concept car presented at the Geneva Motor Show a few years ago."
I would not be surprised if it is one and the same car that was repainted and perhaps received some slight modifications. So I think the rear looks the same as the rear of the Ideaone.
I was (and still am) pretty convinced that the puzzle car is (or resulted in) the Ideaone. Look at the C pillar, the elevated trunklid,...
-
All the companies are Italian. H could actually have been an Open Design supplier and is still an active company (even if not famous).
About Idea One, I agree and the point is your.
-
"g" is an Alfa Romeo?
-
for "h" is involved Franco Forneris and Ucif Modelli?
-
"b" is also by ucif
-
Yes, both made by UCIF.
g I don't know... but it doesn't look an Alfa.
-
Both e and g were made by Zerbini Modelli
-
Correct!
And so all the makers are identified.
I give the points, but leave the puzzle open still for a while to allow trying to identify the cars.
-
Trying to tidy up some really old puzzles on this board.
Any chance you could do something with this one Alessandro?
-
Some picture is missing. I suggest to move as it is in the solved folder.
-
OK thanks.
Moved to Solved.
