The wheels look "wrong", but is it a Lancia Astura?

Not replica, it just reminds some other cars.

No. Not Alfa Romeo, not Lancia, etc.

It doesn't seem to have a name, except perhaps COBA? Its based on a Mercedes S-Klasse and has an Owl and an orb as symbols

Do you know where it was made (city)?

How did you find it? That's not exactly what I have about this car.

Rusty Chrome

I started looking for more information on the Farina bodied Alfa Romeo 6c 2500 as it is clearly modelled on that car and I quickly found these two sites. I thought the car had to be a replica because of the rear wheels, but was very confused when you said it wasn't a replica. The essays on these sites are entitled Alfa Romeo SS Replica or Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Replica but I thought perhaps something was being lost in the translation about a specific name for the replica. The page on the drive2 site about the Owl badge doesn't exactly clarify things either.

Please write builder's name and city. Puzzle is open to all!

pnegyesi

Вячеславом Андрианов
Vyacheslav Andrianov, Dmitrov

Several names are being mentioned, like Alpha or GAZ 11-73 or Emochka

Apparently antiqcar.ru bought the car and gave it a new identity

When I added this car to my puzzle queue a year or two ago, it carried the names Emochka or Slavina Pininfarina.

It was created by "Stanislav A" from Dmitrov, Russia.  Engine is a Mercedes-Benz V12, Some body work came from a GAZ-13.  There was an indication the chassis was from the GAZ-13, but I have also read that the chassis was from the Mercedes.

When you leave off the fender skirts and change the rims, it looks a bit better.  Not sure about the dark silver.

The fender badge says "Farina".

The badge is a "Stabilimenti Farina" one, not Pinin Farina

I had name Stanislav from Dmitrov, but I give points both for pnegyesi and sixtee5cuda.
