Must be the early fifties Morris Minor front end!

Could it be related to Turner?

It's based around a British car, but it wasn't made in the UK...

It's not related to a Turner, but it is Morris Minor based, so now locked to you for 48 hours to tell me what it was known as.

Thanks for the lock Djetset but I've drawn a blank on this one.
Thousands of pictures of Morris Minors but nothing remotely resembling your puzzle picture..
Is the answer actually findable on the 'Net?

The lock has expired now but I'll keep trying; was it made in Australasia?

I 'm 99% certain that I know where it was made, and it wasn't in South Africa.

I don't think it's on the internet either...

Looks as if it should be a group G modified racer, but there is no letter on the bodywork and no trace of a morris based racer in anything  I have read. The rear bodywork looks as if it has been taken directly from a Crosley Hotshot so why on earth would you use an A-series engine instead of the donor car's sophisticated twin cam. The front end looks homebuilt and the grille would suggest an 803cc engine.... and it won a cup? Am I missing something fundamental?..... apart from its name.

Sorry Tobytwirl but my information source doesn't give a great deal of added information about this American racer, apart from the fact that it used the standard Morris Minor motor...

One last gasp.......was it built from, or was there any association with, the team of Minors which raced at the Sebring 12 hours?

From my limited research, I don't believe that there was any connection with this car and those Minors.
