Simply name the car correctly and a point will be yours.

It's from France, and planned to have four wheels!

Moving up to the Pros to work out this strange photo...

Using what imagination I have, I can more or less make out how it should look.

Made to comply with a French national series?
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Sorry Nicanary, but to be honest I can't be 100% sure, as I don't have too much information about this single-seater, beyond who made it (which is the name I'm after for the point).

Is the manufacturer known for other cars ?

Honestly I didn't expect that answer  ;D

Is he known for other open-wheel single seaters ?

Djetset

To the best of my (very limited) knowledge, yes.

Has the manufacturer already been mentioned on AutoPuzzles ?

Yes, it's been mentioned in passing, but there doesn't seem to have been a specific puzzle on this manufacturer; until now!

Is he known for other racing cars than open-wheel single seaters ?

Djetset, when this is all over, would you tell us what the blazes we're looking at? It makes no sense to my aged eyes. ;D

I reckon it's a side view of an incomplete, mid-engined single seater. Engine, nosecone and both left wheels are missing, for some reason.

Oko's explanation says it at, so thanks for that Oko. I took this photo from a magazine that didn't actually have an image of the completed car!

You're welcome.

Now would you please answer my question #15 ?  ;)

Patience, patience! I'm trying to, but still struggling to find an accurate answer as I wouldn't want to mislead you!

I think from memory that it made other, none-open wheeled racers, but I can't find any proof of this as yet, as sadly work has to come first and is currently getting in the way of any free time to do some more research.

Meantime, I have another photo of this car under construction (the only other image I have of it!), which might help, but probably not!

No problem, I just thought you had skipped my question.

As I don't own a cutting edge facial recognition system I'm afraid the other image you posted will be of no help.

Looks like a young Gerard Depardieu.
