He was described as an early car enthusiast from the 1890s, a multi-talented researcher and inventor
Was the article written during his lifetime?

I need to apologise to everybody who participated in this puzzle.
I was looking at the caption and did not read the accompanying article carefully.

So the car on the picture is a Peugeot. But there is still a significance to it, which is mentioned on a website. So if you combine Peugeot and the man in question you still get an interesting result. Would you like to pursue it or should I reveal it and move on?

Oguerrerob

I'd like to find the guy's name

pnegyesi

okay, you need to find the place where this man lived
