Were they known for electric avant-train like some makers using Krieger's sistem? I'm thinking at Ste des Voitures Electriques.

Wendax

No, but the car is electric.

Paul Jaray

Bouquet, Garcin and Schivre?

Wendax

Yes, locked for you to find the model name

Paul Jaray

I read what is written in Georgano's Encyclopedia, the Beaulieu, Burgess-Wise's and a new 2 volume encyclopedia "Automobiles Francaises du XIX Siecle", were there are 2 pages and 4 pictures about BGS. Unfortunately, so far, no names starting with " L' ". Looking in my files, now, but it will take time. I read that the British Electromobile Company from Yorks was distributor for BGS cars...could it be L'Electromobile, then?

Wendax

No, a little less prosaic.

Paul Jaray

An adjective, like 'L'elegante'?

Paul Jaray

Is there any other car with that name?

Wendax

Yes, two of them mentioned here at AP.

Paul Jaray

Something car-related like L'Automotrice?
