An interesting thing is that the picture was taken in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, but the car is probably from another country, because it seems to have a CD license plate (Corps Diplomatique).

So it is not CD, but LU for the Swiss canton of Luzern (Lucerne). The car next to it carries SZ for Schwyz on its plate.

The steering wheel is huge, so I think it´s a prewar chassis with a revamped body (design ca. 1947-1952).

Quite likely it is some big french car like a Delage, Hotchkiss, Delahaye...?
