Thanks for posting that. Brilliant. I'm no physicist, but I'm guessing it's all to do with weight and the subsequent gravitational pull. Also if that's a pukka F1 tyre it'll be made of sticky man-made substance and very little rubber, and consequently it'll not want to rotate freely.
