For reasons that are unclear to me, LG has decided to spearhead a F1 Fan Survey. Lessee, LG sells a lot of stuff in the US. Hmmmmmm....... ???
Anyhoo, here is the link: http://www.lgf1racingfansurvey.com/
It is scheduled to "go live" on Feb 2. Mark your calendars! :D

It's February the Tooth and the survey is live. Here's your chance to give Bernie and earful. I already did. ;D

Typical modern survey that sometimes won't let you answer as you want - with the exception of the "list sponsors of f1 that you've noticed" where I could and did leave it blank.
I was also allowed to say I'd never heard of LG, so had no idea what they made: I was therefore not tempted by the prize of $1000 to spend on LG stuff.
However I did complete it. :yuck:

Well, gosh, Allan. We appreciate that you held your nose and completed the survey. It at least gives us the chance to say that we the fans don't really think of Formula One as the pinnacle of technology that they like to think they are, that we really don't give a flying fig about night races, that we really really want to be able to download the races online, that we really really want to see more racing and less glitz and that we are not at all enthused about races in Jerkajerkastan, Tierra del Fuego or the Sudan just because some corrupt politicians are willing to give Bernie a boatload of money.
I kinda felt bad for LG, as they are about to find out that all that money they are paying for ads and sponsorship is basically wasted. :-\

Long ass survey.

Definitely a better survey then the last year's one, more topics covered and more answers to choose from. Leaving out the LG marketing part, the rest of the questions was ok. Shame that, as usually, the results will be of use only for the F1 Racing magazine, as they'll devote around 10 pages to it in the April issue probably. Nobody else will give a s**t (except for the LG marketing guys).
Or maybe I'm wrong and FOTA will actually listen to the fans like FIA never did?
BTW: Some of you call it an LG survey. LG is only one of the partners, for me it's more of an F1 Racing & FOTA survey.

The survey is definitely slanted towards FOTA, but FOTA is the only power base within the sport that seems to realize that "Houston? We have a problem." Better a long, biased survey than no survey at all, say I. :D
