Pity the poor race track owners around the world. First they plunked down millions to build facilities according to the "Tilke Principle", and now suddenly they all are considering millions more to make changes to their just completed circuits.

Methinks they should make make Tilke himself pay for the changes. Or better yet, that snide and snivelling snake, Bernie Ecclestone his own self!   :idea:

Silverstone we know is in the midst of a major re-do. Bahrain says its going to change its track. And now Singapore wants to remove the portion of the track that goes under the grandstands.  The only problem is, there's a bridge abutment in the way of the new route!   :o

Tilke tracks, regardless on how good they can be in terms of performance, are mostly very boring - flat and slow. And at the same time some real racing circuits like Montreal or Silverstone are now considered anachronisms...
