The information is digitally available on the web, but somehow Google hasn't picked up on it. Even if you know his full name you won't get a useful result. But this way I found out his nickname was "Pot" and there is a (co-)pilot in the Belgian historic Rally scene with exactly the same name, driving an all time classic.

This must be one of the most elaborate hints in autopuzzles history  :D

Blacksmith and mechanic Daniel Defever constructed this car from the remains of his motorcycle after an accident in which his wife died. The photograph is dated 1952.

 :cheer: I gave up on this one some time ago, But the nickname hint plus location and  rally co pilot did the trick. Without that not a chance. So thanks for the help.

And Guido you are right. even with the name nothing on the car pops up.
