A drawing of a car but I'm not sure it ever got built, I can't find any images of the real thing online anyway. I want to know the chassis and coachbuilder please

Healey 1948. Coachbuilder Van den Plas (Belgium).

barrett

Yes, well done!

So, does anyone know if this ever got made, and has a photo of the real thing?

Now I may end up with 'egg on my face' with this one as it may have been posted before.
I don't know what it is but I do have an idea of the country it was registered in.
I had to modify the photo by removing the watermark as that would have given the game away (although that site didn't reveal what it was either).
A point awaits for who can positively identify the car (with proof if necessary).

An Expert opinion is now required - don't forget that I know virtually nothing about this car.....

Can you provide proof Joao although you seem very positive...... ;)
LOCKED for you

João

Sure! Van den Plas ( Belgium )

woodinsight

Amazing!, Fantastic!
I'm sure you're correct and another point for you.
Are there any other photos available of this car - it's the only one I've seen......

Allemano

What a strange car... Looks like found in the bin of Figoni or Saoutchik.

Thanks, unfortunately this is the only one around...

barrett

I thought this one was only ever a drawing... must admit it looks better on paper. There were some very odd VdP designs around this time but this one has to be the strangest.

I think I even had this one - which is slightly different from the real thing - as a previous puzzle of mine but I never would've put 2 and 2 together....

You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!
