As far as I know this particular combination only competed in one race.
Make (including engine), driver, race and year.

Can the Experts think of anything?

Italian GP 1961
Nino Vaccarella in a Scuderia Serenissima entered De Tomaso-Alfa Romeo

This is a bit awkward. I can't say that your answer is wrong, but some people, including the source where I found this particular photo, give the engine has an alternative name. Can you give the alternative?

The Serenissima entrys in the 61 Monza GP
#48 TRINTIGANT - Cooper Maserati T51
#50 VACARELLA - De Tomaso Conrero (Alfa)
entered by Scuderia Settocelli
#52 LIPPI - De Tomaso-OSCA
entered by I.de Tomaso
#54 BUSSINELLO - De Tomaso Conrero (Alfa)
Upto the French GP61 Serenissima used the OSCA powered De Tomaso (ex-F2 Chassis 001) Than they got a new Chassis (003) for the ALFA-Conrero powered car.

Conrero was what I was looking for. Some of my references call it a De Tomaso-Alfa Romeo and some a De Tomaso-Conrero. I suppose it's similar to Cosworth and Ford, when does the tuner modify the source engine enough to put his name to it?
Anyway, the point is yours

From Itanlian Wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgilio_Conrero)
Virgilio Conrero was a tuner of Alfa-engine, later he tunes cars like the OPEL GT. This car was entered at the Targe Florio in 1971 and 1972.
His tuned Alfa 4 Zyl. was first used by Gino Munaron in a Cooper T51 chassis at the 1961 Pau GP
-
The Sheldon/Rabagliati "Black Book" lists the engine as Alfa Romeo. Higham's history Car By Car also refers to it as Alfa but does mention Conrero's involvement in tuning the engine.

I thought it may be of interest to publish the whole story about De Tomaso F1 #003 to avoid confusion with other De Tomaso F1 puzzles that possibly may come up in the future:
1) Image (taken in the beginnings of the 2000s) of the Alfa Romeo engine, De Tomaso Alfa Romeo F1, #003, 1961, without double ignition
2) Article: Conrero, Alfa Romeo, 1961 (sorry French text). Engine pictures of Gino Munarons Cooper T51 Alfa Romeo Conrero 1961
3) Another picture, Vaccarella, Italian GP 1961, De Tomaso Alfa Romeo #003. It was Vaccarellas F1-debut and Wolfgang Berghe von Trips' last race
4) Racing history and specifications of chassis #003

racenumber of CONDOR - real name Luigi Bertocco - at Vallelunga was #42. He was a Ferrari employee and later went to Scuderia Serenissima.
