Made in USA ?
-
For sure :)
-
Is it based on a actual plane cockpit, or was it just built to looke like one ?
-
I am very sure the guy used original airplane parts.
-
Is it powered by an American V8 ?
-
On the left "bonnet" side you can see only 6 direct exhaust outlets from the outside.
Here´s the engine:
-
Could it be found on internet?
-
Videos, photos, yes...
-
Is it a car engine or a plane engine ?
-
350 (5.7 litre) Chevy V8?
-
I am not an expert for engines in general, but I think it features some kind of standard US V8-engine.
Hint:
if you find out the type of planes the parts were used from you have big chances to find this one...
-
Parts from an US Air Force fighter ?
-
I can't decide between a P40 and an A7 ;D !

Parts from an US Air Force fighter ?
Not a fighter, I think it was a trainer plane.
I can't decide between a P40 and an A7 ;D !
No.
-
So does the aircraft model name start with a T ?
-
Indeed...
-
T-28 Trojan?
-
T-6A Texan II ?
-
"T-28" ist the name of this car.
However this is pro-level so I want at least to know the builder/=owner´s name here.
LOCKED for Wendax to have a chance to find out more.
-
Jason Barnett?
-
Not him - two more tries...
-
Time out...
Open for all again.

This vehicle won first place at a local car show during 2016, possibly in Florida. It is completely home built, and the owner welded up the frame himself. It uses a T-28 stick for steering, rudder pedals are brakes, etc. The engine is a 454 Chevy V8.
-
Well, that is all correct, but not enough to award a point or to lock it for you - keep digging...

Rat rod made completely out of T-28 parts at Trudeau Warbird Enterprises in Punta, Gorda FL.
The body is made out of non-airworthy skins and it’s controlled by a stick and the airspeed is determined through a pitot tube in the nose.
"Jamie Trudeau, an aircraft restorer, had a lot of aircraft parts laying around so he decided to use them to build this P-40 Warhawk inspired machine. Most of the aluminum was taken from a T-28 Trojan and was fabricated by Jamie himself"

Perfect!
Two points!
