It was indeed made by Grumman(Olson actually),and it was a 1971 Mercedes.
But what was the exact base car? And how did Mercedes called this vehicle?
Locked for you of course.

Found another description : 1971 Mercedes Benz/Olson 508 D Delivery Van.

The 508 D was part of the T2 / Düsseldorfer Transporter range.

That's the one. Another point for you.
The exact name is Mercedes L508D Step Van. With a Kurbmaster body by Olson.
