No, that's not the answer so you need to keep looking.  I'm in the USA until the week after next without my files though so may not be able to give you a definitive answer until I get back.

Wow, this is the rookie section yet you sure don't go easy on these challenges!  :P

I was like 300% SURE it was gonna be a Tipo, a friend had pointed it out to me once in a discussion about Maserati...until I made the recent connection it was only dressed up to look like the Tipo!

Final answer be the 3500 GT. One heck of a barn find

Yes, it's a 1961 3500GT-based sort of replica of a 151 with a Mexico engine.
The owner hints that it was made by Drogo but I doubt that so I didn't make it part of the question.
Normally I would ask for the name of the builder and what engine powers it - life isn't easy on AutoPuzzles!

It looks more like the 1957 450S coupe designed by Frank Costin and ruined by Zagato.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Yes, it does seem to be the same car.
So maybe my puzzle car isn't a later replica?  I don't know..
