This looks like the HfBK Berlin City Car 2000 proposal from 1998.
-
City Car 2000 is the name, but is older than 1998. Locked for you
-
You didn’t actually ask for the year in your original question, but I made a typo anyway as it should have been c.1988, not 1998.
-
You're right about that I didn't ask for the year. The year is 1986. As a City Car 2000 and Berlin (city where it was designed, but not part of the name), I would ask for the people involved.

I assume you are joking?! ???
Your original question was a simple 'Please find this car' which I've done. You didn't ask for a year, who designed it (HfBK), and so on. I am getting increasingly feed-up with one original question being asked, and then other questions being unfairly added later, which frustratingly seems to be becoming more commonplace here now. If more information is needed, it should be mentioned in the initial question (of which to be reasonable there should be a maximum of four at most - such as name, model, year and one possible other aspect - not like some who ask far too many questions for a point).
Beyond my original answer of HfBK Berlin (front view below), I don't know who the people involved with the proposed City Car 2000 were, and I am not that desperate for points, so you can unlock and let someone else answer a question that you didn't originally ask :(. AutoPuzzles should be a place of fair pleasure, enjoyment, fun and education, not somewhere of frustration where the parameters get changed midway through a puzzle. Sorry for the rant, but there is a certain principle of fairness that should be adhered to and not modified ad-hoc on a whim.

The name that I had wasn't the HfBK Berlin City Car 2000. But I googled and pop up from the usual source. So you're right.
Just for the records about the people involved Prof. Gerhard Schlüter & 13 Art and Engineering Students.
About your argument, I may say that "finding the car" I considered as a generic question, to induce to find as much info as possibly. I'll start to be more specific in my request. And I will ask to include it in the Rulebook. I've been also be in front of sequel questions after finding a car.
About the fun and not frustating site you're right, but part of the joy is search and find.
About the points, I think, Autopuzzles is about Search, Find and be rewarded by Points. In my opinion, it's not good for the game despising the points.
Anyway, the point is yours. Sorry for the argue.

Thank you for your understanding and the point, and sorry again for my frustration, as I agree that the maximum amount of information about each puzzle vehicle is good for us all and adds to our knowledge and enthusiasm. As I think you've guessed though, I do find it very frustrating when the 'rules' get changed.
I think now might be a good time to review the rules of AP and suggest appropriate updates, such as ALL AP participants, from Experts upwards, should contribute new puzzles as well as answering existing one from time-to-time, for example, as well as providing unmodified images of vehicles once a puzzle has been solved, provide accurate information where possible, double-check via Search before posting a new puzzle, and so on.
Thanks again ;).

It should be Gerhard Schlüter instead of Gerard Schlüter.
And the "usual source" is not quite correct with claiming it to be from the HfBK Berlin. The HfBK (Hochschule für Bildende Künste) was merged with the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst into the Hochschule der Künste Berlin (HdK) in 1975.
