Someone is waiting for passengers here. Probably for a line with few passengers or with narrow streets.
In which city should the bus be used? Who made the bodywork? Who made the base and what is its designation?

Up to the Experts.

This puzzle is more complex than you might think due to sheer amount of variants made of this bus.
This "Midibus", also called HD-8, was part of the second generation of the CSA Commissie Standaardisering Autobussen (Commission for standardisation of autobuses) buses for the Netherlands. It was built in the province of Friesland by coachbuilder Hainje. The second generation CSA buses started production in 1982, but the Midibus shorter variant was introduced in 1984. These Midibuses were built on mechanical components of the German bus supplier Neoplan or the Dutch bus supplier DAF. Aside from standard passenger vehicles also special liveries were made like for example a hearse. Throughout the production period of these Midibuses there were quite some changes applied to the headlights, grille, doors and most eye-catching the most rear side window. It was used by several bus companies throughout the Netherlands which makes this puzzle not so easy.
The puzzle vehicle is most probably a Neoplan based one used in the city of Amsterdam.

Thank you for this detailed background information! I've learnt something new again. :hail:
You're right, it's a Neoplan for Amsterdam, built by Hainje. The only thing missing is the type designation and the year of manufacture.
Locked for you.

Time for my third "Sichel Bee" then? :lmao:
The Neoplan type designation is N707. The year of manufacture is not listed in your puzzle inquiry, but these type of buses were built from 1984 onwards as my previous answer states and the ones for Amsterdam (GVB 585-591) were mostly built in 1985.

"Time for my third "Sichel Bee" then?" Of course ;-) Enjoy the honey.
Yes, it is a Neoplan N 707, but from 1984. As I forgot to include the year of manufacture in the question, the point has been gained.
