Who do we see here with which racer? Where and when was that? What was the result?
-
Well, which expert has a solution?
-
Cunningham C4RK, 1952 at Le Mans, driven by Phil Waters and Duane Carter
-
That's it!
Evaluation and points will follow later. We are about to start the Roncalli Christmas Circus.
-
Apart from one point, there is nothing to add.
-
Easy to establish the year - behind the Cunningham are two of the works Jaguar C-types which failed spectacularly. Paranoid about the supposed speed of the new Mercedes gullwing coupes Jaguar designed a very aerodynamic body which unfortunately caused overheating. In fact the Mercedes were very nearly beaten by the old Talbot of Pierre Bouillon (Levegh), but that's another story.
