Should I take Shell or BP?

For one point, please respond and identify this car.

Yes, there is quite some confusion whether the Cooper-Borgwards were T45, T51 or both, otherwise correct.

According to the Black Book, Rob Walker's car was chassis F2-9-58, and a Type 45. It was not at all unusual for Walker's cars to be the previous year's model.

The race at Rheims was held after the Grand Prix the same day, and it was incredibly hot. The tarmac was melting on the road, and many drivers failed to finish the race, especially those who had already driven in the GP. Moss of course wasn't like any other driver!
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Moss, the gentleman. Our estate agent, as a very small child, wrote to him immediately following the Goodwood accident. Stirling replied as soon as he was able. Our (now retired) state agent still has that kind reply,..a cherished possession.

A slightly clearer photo of Stirling Moss in the Cooper-Borgward.
