In 1897/98, AFA (Accumulatoren-Fabrik Aktiengesellschaft) attempted to enter the electric vehicle market in addition to manufacturing accumulators. Among other things, several light trucks were commissioned from bodywork companies. However, this did not result in long-term production. The mystery vehicle is likely to date from this era.
