BERTRAND

Porsche 959 convertible one off;  Its first owner was reportedly Jürgen Lassig, runner-up at Le Mans in 1987 and winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1995. He owned the car in 1988, before tragically being involved in a serious accident on the Autobahn that same year. He then sold the shell to the renowned Porsche driver and craftsman, Karl-Heinz Feustel, who spent 4,000 meticulous hours restoring it to running condition... and cutting off the roof to create a truly unique model.

That's it!
Unfortunately, my source does not name the body builder who carried out this complex conversion. The client is said to have been Auto-Becker, Düsseldorf.
Thank you for your detailed description.

But those are 2 different cars? The cars have different windscreens and different folding roofs ...

The brochure above talks about three variations: a hardtop coupe with sliding roof, a speedster and a convertible with an electric top. The brochure obviously shows the speedster version. Maybe interchangeable windscreens and roofs?  ;)
