Bon appétit.
Who is responsible for the fact that there are such delicious things to buy at the market?
We are not referring to the manufacturer or seller of the goods, but rather the manufacturer of the base vehicle and the bodywork. The type of base vehicle is also important.
Experts!
Hanomag-Henschel F20?
Hanomag-Henschel: Nearly
F 20: No
Hanomag (1967-68) (not Henschel) F35?
Yes, it's a Hanomag, not a Hanomag-Henschel, but not an F 35 either. If the type designation is correct, I'll lock it for the coachbuilder.
F 30?
No.
F25
No.
F series ?
Yes!
I'm going on holiday for a few days today. Answers may take longer.
So I wish you a happy holiday!
We won't have to suffer less either. :mdr: :mdr: :mdr:
Is "F-series" the answer? I thought that just meant F20, F30, F35, etc.
You can see that it is a vehicle from the so-called 'Harburg Transporter' series, i.e. from the F 20 upwards. The 'F series' actually refers to the types from the F 45 upwards. But as they all have an 'F' in their type designation, I think it's difficult to classify them.
Refrigerated body by Imhof?
No cooling structure, nor by Imhof.
Mobile store
Fahrzeugbau Kersten?
Yes, it is a Mobile Store, but not built by Fahrzeugbau Kersten.
Walde?
French ?
No
German
Seyser & Gossler?
No
MIKAFA?
I repeat my question by expanding: German bodybuilder?
"I repeat my question by expanding: German bodybuilder?"
Sorry Bill, I forgot. Yes, it is a German coachbuilder,
But not MIKAFA.
orco Hohns
Could it be that you mean Borco-Höhns?
Yes
Then you're very close, but at the time of the puzzle vehicle, the name was slightly different. Three locks to find the name.
Richard Hohns KG or Auto Hohns
Yes, "Richard Höhns Fahrzeugwerk KG" was the correct company name at the time.
Now you have three more attempts to guess the type designation that the vehicle manufacturer gave this version. Still locked.
MB
Not MB. See #5 and #14
F46
No, the F46 is not part of the "Harburg Transporter" series.
Wikipedia doesn't seem to be in on the secret
F55
Once we have solved the puzzle, we may be able to help Wikipedia ;-)
Take another look at #14. The F series from F45 upwards does not belong to the 'Harburg transporters'. So: 'No' again. One more try ;-(
F31
Not an F31, but you're on the right track. You'll get another chance.
F41
This step was too big. Unfortunately unlocked.
F35
No. No common type designation
F36
F35-N, 1969
Bill is right, it's an F 36. That was the successor to the Matador Athlet.
A drive unit for low-floor lift trucks (e.g. Ruthmanns), aerial work platforms or even sales vehicles for French cheese!!
With the F 36, total weights of up to 5 tonnes were possible. This required stronger springs and larger wheels => higher mounted cab and greater distance to the bumper.
The puzzle sales vehicle had the special feature of being able to pull apart like a box of matches.

The predecessors Tempo Athlet and Hanomag Athlet:

You know what? I'm happy.
This is something that gave me a lot of work.

Great, that's the whole point of this forum.
This famous creamy, soft cheese with a bloomy rind is recognizable by its oval shape: Suprême des Ducs® offers a delicate flavor.
Its texture is supple and it matures for 11 days.
The cheese factory was taken over by the Bongrain Group, and Suprême des Ducs seems to have disappeared from the catalog in favor of Caprice des Dieux.
Yes, good and popular things are becoming increasingly rare.
I learned from an earlier puzzle that it is very difficult to find information about the Athlet platform, especially from the USA.
In Germany, it is not much easier to find information about the Athlet or the F 36.
I mainly know about the Athlet from some Tempo books. The general books about German vans and trucks rather neglect these.
