I don't know much about this car.

For one point, please respond and identify this car, the engine and the approximate date.

João

Circa 1934 Amilcar 1100 Tank?

Oguerrerob

1924 Chenard et Walcker 1.1Litre Tank

Wendax

Neither Amilcar nor Chenard et Walcker

Marquez

Wendax

That is the car. Locked for you to find the engine used and the approximate date.

Paul Jaray

1929, inline 8 (two 4-cylinder Scap 1200cc)

Wendax

Congratulations, that is correct. Another point for you.

My source spelled the name Marquès. Unfortunately the frontal pic isn't sharp enough to show the emblem clearly in order to find out.

Some more pictures:

woodinsight

My source - Doyle's 1958 - lists the Argentine-born L.F. Marquez with a 'z'

The entry for Marquez is Automobiles L.F. Marquez, 1 rue Boutebrie, Paris (5e)

Wendax

Thanks, woodinsight. The spelling with z seems more probable to me, too. I'll change the Headline.
