In which case it must be the BMW 2000SA, and so I'd guess 1969 when it was launched.

As any extra bit of info, I have seen a dealer service manual which also referred to a 1600SA version, but I don't believe that was ever built. And of course in Zimbabwe it was assembled as the BMW Cheetah.

Yes, I have it as the 2000SA, actually this particular one fom 1971 but I think it was announced in 1969 so you are right.
Well done.

Good that a nice Frua design was not wasted.
