Is it a fiat multipla proposal built by Italy and Germany?

grobmotorix

No. This car is tiny.

Let´s start with this question:

Who built Fiats in Germany back then?

kwgibbs

sorry!,when you mentioned an Italian connection I thought maybe Germany & Italy did a proposal or something similar.

Them could it be a prototype for a different NSU-Fiat Weinsberger 500 (Later Neckar-Fiat 500)?

grobmotorix

Right - it is a NSU-Fiat prototype.

Still locked for you to find out more...

This is the prototype NSU-Fiat HR3 developed in Weinsberg in 1953, precursor of HR4 that was adopted as Nuova500. It hat a single front door hinged at the bottom, to acceed to the rear seats was necessary to jump over the front folded seats!
