when l'm editing my books , l noticed these two cars looks very similar , but not exactly same :

AL Automobile LC sabre 1990 (or you can call it LA Automobile)
vs
Santa Matilde SM 4.1

is there any relationship between them ?
like , upgrade , repulica ( l guess not) ,tech share , etc?
Will be very thankful if anyone can tell me , please !

I don't know the answer, but I would say that whilst they are a similar genre of car, a 2-door coupe, and a similar size, both with styling details that were very popular amongst many cars at the time (e.g. the front indicators wrapping around) I can't see one single part that I would say could be common to both cars - not the glass, the bodywork, the lights or the wheels for instance.

I would say it's highly unlikely the two cars are related.

Indeed. Just styling trends of that time. Compare the Ford Cortina Mk2 and Hillman Hunter. At the time I couldn't tell the difference.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

l thought...l used to thought it was some kind of facelift or something , but maybe that's right , there's no connection between them
