Hi!
Does anyone have any pictures or/and information about an Italian record car called Moscerino? According to the information I have in 1939 it set a speed record of 146,9 kph driven by A.Cekkini (could be the wrong writing of his soname, sorry). Unfortunately, that's all I've got, but would like to know more. If you don't want to uncover any sources, I'd be glad to see any PM's. Thanks!

Try to look for Raffaele (Lello) Cecchini. ;)

Thanks, PJ! Though honestly I couldn't find so much - some info on Leif Snellman's site about Cecchini and a tiny mentioning him in article in .doc by Ugo Fadini, still nothing about his car(s)... :(

Cecchini's Moscerino , together with Crespi's SAM , Capanna's Cobra and Sauro Stella's Piro-Piro are the italian cars that won an International Record recognized by FIA. There were of course Abarth, Lurani's Nibbio, Taruffi's Tarf and others more popular.

Yes, thanks! That was an article in Italian by Ugo Fadini. Seems like very small amount of photographs exists (if does at all) of those Moscerino, Cobra and Piro-Piro. Pity thing  :(
