I believe that is a Piper Rogue.

I think I should resize that pic...Not an easy task with a mobile (and limited skills :/ )

The puzzle car has flatter fenders (wings) than a Piper Rogue.  Exterior door "handle" seems different, and the puzzle car has more padding on top of the door.

There were a lot of VW- and Chevette-based Mercedes replicas built in the 1980's.

I belief that it is a Gazelle, build 1971 on a VW platform and Ford 1600 engine.

I've only just realised after all these years that the Delta Pageant from the UK has never been mentioned here (as the puzzle car is RHD), although I'm not expecting an answer anytime soon ???
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.
