I just read that it is a private Eigenbau, built in 1933 on an Opel 1,2 Liter chassis by a man from Rüsselsheim. His goal was to build an aerodynamic body, and it proved to go up to 18 % faster.

grobmotorix

Cool - I want to know what it is, finally...

pnegyesi

I don't have very good news. Motor Kritik did not say who built the body. I looked in subsequent issues and it is not noted either.

pnegyesi

This looks like a factory picture to me. Maybe someone within the Opel archives know the answer! Pic is from 1934

I have found only the same informations about this car as you, pnegyesi. Maybe 'SACO' (SAC#1819) knows more about this mystery

pnegyesi

I contacted the historical department of Opel, they will get back to me in a few days
