Looks like a Fiat Twin Cam engine.
Is it running on fuel that isn't petrol/gasoline?

I think its a 2.0 Fiat twin OHC engine running on Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection.

Its mounted in a 1977 Fiat 131 Abarth rally car.

Quite a few going unanswered ATM. :(
I have a suggestion.
When a member posts a puzzle, the answer should be lodged/disclosed to the forum owner or someone high up and reliable who can take over the puzzle If the original poster "disappears"
Of course that person wont be able to participate in the puzzle, which may be a problem.

A problem just as old as Autopuzzles... We usually didn't interfere until a member dissappeared completely for an indefinite period of time, which isn't the case with del78........., yet!

e.g. "Ming" who joined 6 years ago, was last seen 6½ months later and left some insoluable puzzles behind which are still there.

Maybe we should just delete them if they aren't solved after a long time; then maybe another puzzler could post them again at some future date if they ever find out what they are, as they aren't going to get the points for solving them?  There seems no point in leaving them there..

I don't know if this is right or not so can't really move it to Solved.
If you can prove it I'll give you a point, but in the meantime it's going into the Black Hole..

this is 2000cc engine from Fiat with mechanical fuel injection, but no Kugelfischer

a little bump and summary:
this is 2000cc engine from Fiat with mechanical fuel injection, but no Kugelfischer

for 2 points I need to know who (company) changed carburators into fuel injection and in which car it was mounted.

picture and article was found in old polish magazine so this is now an official clue :)
