Into the Black Hole very soon!

I'm assuming this was built in the late 1980s in the UK.
Could this be a Moko? (I haven't seen a photo of this car so it's a wild guess!)

Djetset

It is a British car, but slightly younger (mid-1990s), so it's not a Moko, which was based on the BMC 1100-1300 range.  This one is Metro-based (although they are of course related!).

I've found this one very similar Mini Metro 'Roamer' built by a man named George Davies of Birmingham 1981

Djetset

Gosh, very well done Oguerrerob as you have found the first, original 1980s version of this car, which then made a comeback in a mildly modified form (as per my puzzle photo) in the mid-1990s.

I will award you a point now, but also keep this puzzle open for the name of the 1990s version in the puzzle.

Moons Moke, by GL Enterprises?
BTW Quiller already guessed Roamer..

...from the same book...

Djetset

Hmmm, I'm sure I recall this has another name as well, but won't be able to verify until I get home at the weekend, so watch this space!

PJ, I admire your patience, but I still can not find the other name for this car, so until I do, have a point for getting the GL Enterprises Moons Moke name.  ;)

Thank you.
That was the last reply from you...if I knew you already got back and checked I wouldn't keep on replying.  ;)

I've found this picture tag as Mini Scamp R Dudley.
"2003. In this year's Autumn Antics, 50 entrants took part in eight tests, run twice, on various loose surfaces. The Team award goes to the three drivers from the same club with the lowest total time, and five clubs had enough entries to be in contention for this. Individual Fastest Time of Day went to Roger Dudley, in his Mini Scamp."

Another picture:
"Roger Dudley, in his 1300 Scamp, the 70's kit car inspired by BMC's Mini Moke" 2004

And another:
"The 2005 Autumn Antics followed our usual format, with nine tests on various loose surfaces. The entrants, and award winners, included some familiar faces, including Roger Dudley, who was the overall winner for the third year, in his 1300 Mini based Scamp"

Djetset

Sorry, but it's not a Scamp.
