Hmmm. I wish I knew how!
TVR-powered?
Title: Re: Djetset #572
Post by: Djetset on February 17, 2012, 03:17:53 PM
Not specifically TVR-powered, but shares the same engine as some TVR models.  Hope this is not too cryptic!

Hmmm... Some proposal by ex-TVR guys to take up where TVR left off and make a new TVR-style car for the 21st century?  Ben Samuelson perhaps?
Title: Re: Djetset #572
Post by: Djetset on February 18, 2012, 01:27:03 PM
Not Ben Samuelson (he's now involved with Bristol Cars) but it is by a group of ex-TVR employees. Locked to you until next reply to name the company.

The TVR Sonitus is a new one on me, so thanks for the discovery. Sadly though, this is not that car.

The new AC 378 GT Zagato looks remarkably like your puzzle car.
Is it related?

Sorry, but the new Zagato-designed AC (ex-Piranha) has no relatiionship at all.

Thanks for bringing this one back to life Carnut, but sadly it is not an Epona (though it looks similar)

I just spotted that the Company behind this tough puzzle folded last week, meaning that its website (which including other images of this car) has now been taken down.

I guess this will now make it more difficult to find this car, so as a one-off special offer, I will award three points between now and 1st April 2016 to any puzzler who can correctly identify the Company responsible for this machine.  Good luck  :)

If the website has been taken down where can the information be found?  Anywhere?!
I spent many an hour Googling everything imaginable for this and came up with a big fat zero.
Even the Googling option is no longer there now...

I tried Googling this one again last night, and all I could find was some information from Companies House, with nothing about this car at all, so I guess it's good old print only now.  The photo I used originally over 3 years ago was taken from a sales leaflet for this car  ???
