No, not there, and just a reminder that this Company exists in the Cotes d'Armor region of Brittany. I have looked on-line again, and it seems that the firm does have an actual vehicle conversion facility based in the 'mystery' town.

Is it related to Labbé in Lamballe ? It doesn't fit with the geographic hints but I can't find any company in the zone described in reply #171 which mostly consists in fields, farms and houses.

Yes, it is related to Labbe in Lamballe, but without a map of the region in front of me, I believe the geographical hints were correct, although as I mentioned at an early stage, geography is not my strong point. 

So, now locked to you finally for the actual answer to my original puzzle question as to which Company converted this Mercedes-Benz (not Labbe), and what was it called? I can not wait for this one to be resolved...
