The base car is obvious, so no point for naming that, but who created this odd cocktail please for a point?

No, further up the alphabet ;)
A reminder that this puzzle is now unlocked for all to have a try at.
Could it be found online?

Sorry for my slow answer; I've been away for a few days.
I've just taken a quick look on-line but can't find any mention of this car, which I took from a printed source.
I've found the picture but just tagged as 2CV de Plage. Magazine cover and index, but not the article, not a name

Yes, you've found my information source. All I now need is the name of this 2CV's creator, which I appreciate may be easier said than done. Now
Locked to you to dig a little deeper.
This issue is still available for 5,50 €, if anyone is ready to spend that amount for a point :D
Before I'll give up, I'd like to try different approach. Is it from Cote d'Azur

No, not the Cote d'Azur. Going from memory (as I'm currently a very long way from the magazine) this converted 2CV is from Brittany.
The background surely looks like Brittany. :)
Well, apparently noone has shared this article, or talked about this "Midi 2CV Midi Mehari de la plage". So I have to give up, I couldn't find anything else. Please open to all
Ok, thanks Oguerrerob, but don't give up...
What I've found is that belongs to 2cv Mehari Club Cassis ( I don't know french, so maybe what it's written "carrosserie Blanc Meije", it's builder's name and not the color
Blanc Melje is just the colour's name, La Melje being a mountain in the French Alps.
I supposed something like that. Thank you
Someone called it Mehadeuche.
I can see why that nickname has been used, but sorry, that's not the name I'm looking for.

What happened with this last exchange? These two posts appear to have been edited in a way that makes it difficult to tell what was being said by whom. Oguerrerob appears to answer his own question, only to be followed by Djetset doing the same. :o
Not sure what's gone on here, but nothing has been deleted, and to summarise, the name Mehadeuche is not the correct name, so still open to all.
I guess Djetset hit the Modify button instead of the Quote button by mistake, or something like that.

Quite likely, because as you know, I am a bit of a Luddite when it comes to IT!

I'm happy again to learn new vocabulary: never heard of Luddite before. Now I know that it is a person we would call
Maschinenstürmer in German. :grad:
