My 250th puzzle is only hanging by a thread. ;)
Does this go up sometime?
I'm not sure, I think it's going down ;D
must be dutch
It's Dutch indeed :)
He stole my question :P.
Joking. But clearly it is a typical style house.
guido66: time for a move to the Pro section?
Last stop for the black hole! :)
I've found this photo. I know it's not the same car but it's funny to know isn't the only one to use this same way!
Homebuilt body being lowered to be mated up to the VW platform that is waiting for it
It's homebuilt indeed, but I have no technical information.
And the place is naturally somewhere in your own country...
Yes, you've narrowed it down quite a bit! :D
Although I've got no technical details, I'm very certain that it was not built on a VW chassis.
He must have been in a hurry to move it, because this photo of the same address 2 years later shows a brand new housing block, which still stands today.
The car looks a bit like the Voisin Biscooter, the second model.
This one is very much older than the Voisin Biscooter
So, dating from the 1920s?
No, early 30s.
Was this happening in Eindhoven?
No, closer to the coast
Somewhere in Zeeland?
Rotterdam?
Rotterdam it is!
Did he build the car in his flat? And the picture shows when he tries to take the car on the road?
Yes, that's the story.
does it have any vanderbrink influence?
I have no knowledge of a vanderbrink from that era. Also I have no other information than the builders name, address and the date it was published in a newspaper.
