I thought I had posted this here before but apparently I did not.

This is a 1939 Chevrolet limousine/hire car/taxi from Sweden.  It is said to be one of a small series built by a
Swedish coach builder.  One example was supposed to have been supplied to the Swedish Royal Family fleet.

Note... It is not a normal Chevrolet Imperial!!

The front door seems to come from a 4 door sedan of that year, the middle passenger door is identical to the Imperial model of that year but the rear window is identical to the 2 door coach of that year and much larger than that found on the Imperial.

I am trying to help a Swedish fellow who's friend owns the car and wishes to restore it.  They would like to know who built it originally.  It ended it's service in Middle Sweden as a school bus but no one seems to know anything about it and I have
posted the photos on a number of sites with no result.

Perhaps one of our coach builder experts or one of our Swedish members can tell us more about the car.

Thanks for any assistance.

You surely mean Chrysler not Chevrolet, don“t you?

No Sir:

Other photos show a body plate "Body by Fisher" and other indications of "General Motors Nordiska AB".

Definitely a 1939 Chevrolet, one of a very few bodied by this as yet unknown body builder.
