Title: grob cyclecar 2014.12.07 (03)
Post by: grobmotorix on December 07, 2014, 09:09:28 AM
Another car, that I do not know myself.

Who can prove his guess?

Here is all the information I have:

Graf Kinsky drove this cycle car mystery in 1917 - it may be Austrian, but I don´t know.

From northern Bohemia to be more precise.

To my best knowledge they built two different type of cars and together they reached a production of several hundred cars.

That's gr Kinsky for sure, but I really doubt this car was made in Hungary. But we can ask the Kinsky family :) Let me just do that

From someone who knows the family:
The car is a Laurin & Klement FC model, the sporting version of the F-type. Less tan twenty FC cars were built. Otto Hieronimus drove one in the 1908 St. Petersburg-Moscow race, and Count Sascha Kolowrat another in the 1908 Bosnia Trial including the Ivanpass Hill Climb.

Do you have another photo of this FC type?

I have filed more than 300 Laurin & Klement Files on my HDD, but I am not able to find a similar L&K car.

I´m not convinced at the moment.

But this topic is locked for you now.
