Title: gte4289_36 Unidentified Jaguar Special
Post by: gte4289 on November 01, 2018, 05:12:25 PM
This photo of what appears to be a modified Jaguar Mk VII was taken at a car show in New York sometime in the 1950s. This is all I know. I will award a point to anyone who can provide verifiable information about the car and the party responsible for its bodywork.

It's not there, but I would not be surprised if that's his work.
I'll try somewhere else.

It was on display at Watkins glen 51 52 initially as a fairly std car but later further modified
I can tell you the chassis number and I can tell you where it is today but am not allowed to do so
I don't believe it was European coachbuilder but US co the owner a Mr Kunz ?
see my Jaguar Archives facebook posting on the car.

The question is where did the pic come from showing modified nose which is how it is today?

I found the image while poring over a large online archive of historic photos.
