Title: TGF-164: Jeep based, Peugeot-Citroen bodied, vehicle
Post by: targhediferro on July 11, 2013, 09:13:51 AM
Sorry for the bad picture;  this car is a puzzle made with parts coming from almost two cars for the body (easy), but based upon a different car for the mechanics.  I want to know the name of the three cars used for the main parts of the body (two) and for the mechanics (the third), and who's responsable for it.

Wow, very well done, locked for you to add the name of the man who did it.

That was the easy part, was the car made in France?

Sorry Ropat...I felt so strange you can't complete your answer that I checked my source; actually I took  the picture that was sent to a magazine as an attachement to a letter.  I understand that the man who wrote the letter was the maker of the car, but perhaps this is not right.  Have you found this article or have you managed in discovering the base car on your own?

I did not find the magazine article or anything else on the Internet.
I only guessed it was built using a Jeep (Willys?) chassis because of the wheels, the front wheel drive hub and the rear floating axle.
Do I have to search in French or in English?

Well, I took the picture from another article (I'm not yet able to find), where it was less obvious that the man who wrote the letter was not the builder of the car, because his letter was just reported, and perhaps shortened. The picture is the same and so the name of the writer;  so I think you earned the point. I'll move it to the balck hole and another point is for the quizzer who, eventually, discovers the builder of this Jeep-Peugeot-Citroen.
