Is the base an OM? The Alfa Romeo bus behind this quiz vehicle is also a nice one by the way.

The Torpedo body style would usually indicate a build year earlier that the fifties for OM. However the short wheelbase is pointing towards an OM Leocino. My guess is OM Leocino with body by Portesi.

Look on Myn Transport Blog for Portesi or OM. You'll see an example with the front fender skirts.
