6 February 1911. Rolls-Royce adopted the "Spirit of Ecstasy" mascot, the silver-winged hood ornament that has become the company's symbol.

Is the flying lady the most recognizable brand mascot? Which brand (oe model) logo or mascot is most readily recognizable, in your opinion?

Whether you like German cars or not (and I'm not a big fan of those) you have to admit that the three-pronged star from Stuttgart has to be one of the most recognisable logos.

I think that Emily is remarkable only because she is the only surviving figural mascot at all. She´s unique now, but for decades there´ve been tons of mascot that resembled her more or less.

Emily is "just" a piece of fine art, the three-pointed star is one of the first real logos, reduced and remarkable - well at its beginnings it was even more reduced, just after Daimler merged with Benz in 1926 the ring around it was born:
