Title: A Mishap in the East
Post by: Romantic Technofreak on May 21, 2024, 11:23:39 AM
Hi autopuzzles.com,

passing tramway lines sometimes is not an easy job. The driver of this car obviously made a miscalculation. But what did he drive?

The scene is said to have happened in Leipzig, East Germany at that time, in 1982. The car is from Poland. The closest match of cars for me is the Fiat 132, which was available in Poland at that time.

But the forefront does not match! I never see a picture of it with big, rectacular, single headlights, nor a cut for the turn signal in the edge.

Do you know what is seen here? If so, please tell it to me and the others!

Thank you, and regards,
RT

It is the successor to the Fiat 132, the Fiat Argenta.

Thank you Wendax!

I am from (West) Germany and I wonder why this model either was not sold there or why I don't remember it.
