Oldsmobiles and beauty queens

You may or may not know that I am an Oldsmobile lover. The 1957 was maybe not my favorite, but still those cars had a nice butt and lovely sculptured rear wings. The dash was atomic. I often rode in a 1957 convertible owned by a friend and God was that a land yacht !

So I couldn't resist to show you this picture, found on the Hemmings blog, of about twenty five 1957 Ninety Eight convertibles gathered together, plus an equivalent number of ladies in bathing suit about to compete for the miss America title.
The picture was taken by Esther Bubley, former FSA and OWI photographer and a charming lady herself.
