That was a deductive guess, based upon the car's cheesy sci-fi look, and relative size.

If somebody else can find more about the car (I've looked at 35 pages of Google results, to no avail), please go ahead.

It's the car from "Detective Robot"  

The year I have is 1973, and I think it's based on a Datsun 240Z

Partial repost..I looked hard in the database..didn"t see. So..(Japan)1973 t.v. series Robot K or also known as Robotto Keiji-April 5 to September 27 for 26 episodes-car was called the "Joker' & could "fly" in the show at 1000mph. There was also a movie, prior to the t.v. series.
