This Alfa is featured in the D´Ieteren book! 1924 Bruxelles Salon car, with a Panhard & Levassor and a Minerva...You´re looking for the Patent body I think..that should be a Brevet from Baehr.

guido66

This is getting interesting.  :) In the lower left corner of the original photo is a sign of another coachbuilder at another show. After this is solved, it would be nice to find out who copied who, or if there was a joint-venture of some kind...

This is the Amsterdam Salon isn´t it? I´ll scan the picture and post here  ;)

guido66

Yes, this photo was taken in Amsterdam  :)

guido66

After studying the photo closely I can also tell you that it's not a Brevet Baehr...

guido66

Not that.

I meant to lock this puzzle, but I see that I forgot to do so. However, from now on this puzzle is locked for João until his next reply.

Here is the picture :

It is strikingly similar, or even the same car  :o.  But on my photo, the sign in front of the car has another coachbuilders name and even another Brevet!

guido66

On closer inspection I see differences. The sheet metal covering the inner side of the leafspring on the D'Ieteren car seems to be missing on mine.

João

That´s very funny  ;D

The coachbuilder ( if it´s another car ) was from Amsterdam?
