That's it, yes, although I have the year as 1950.
Apparently it has a unique tubular chassis designed by Gilco.

One point to Delorean for providing the coachbuilder and the name Supergioiello.  Internet sources are unclear on the year the car was built.  1947, 1949, or 1950.

I think it is 1950. as the 'Supergioiello' is actually a development of the 'Gioiello' from slightly earlier (see www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=18302.0 )

I was convinced I had already posted this stunningly beautiful car as a puzzle, but it simply doesn't seem to be there, so it must have been in my dreams...!:

I posted this puzzle because of the previous 'Gioiello' puzzle.  The 'Gioiello' looks nothing like an Alfa, but the 'Supergioiello' has an obvious Alfa front.

If you look carefully, one thread is titled 'Supergioiella' and the other 'Supergioiello' and the single letter difference confuses the computer!
